• Several units under offer as Bromborough development completes

The UK’s leading regeneration specialist, Priority Sites, which is realising a £25 million investment programme for Merseyside, yesterday celebrated the completion of a fourth phase of commercial premises at Bromborough.

The Mayor of Wirral, Cllr Phil Gilchrist joined the national developer, at phase two of the Stadium Court development at Wirral International Business Park, to mark the completion of the £2.5 million industrial scheme, which is set to create up to 90 jobs for the local area when fully occupied.

Priority Sites has so far developed over 145,000 sq. ft of commercial accommodation in Bromborough alone, both at Wirral International Business Park and at the near-by Croft Business Park, working closely with both Wirral Direct and the Northwest Development Agency.

The completion of this latest development phase at Stadium Court marks the final tranche of a £9 million investment programme in Bromborough by the company who develop purpose-built, high specification premises suitable for a wide range of businesses.  In the coming months, the company will work closely with Wirral Council in order to bring forward further development at the Business Park, with a 54,000 sq. ft contemporary office scheme on the adjacent Riverview.

The developer has a proven track record in attracting occupiers to the development and interest has been high in the latest phase. As the Stadium Court scheme completes, only 1 unit of 25,000 sq ft remains available.

John Boanas, Development Director for Priority sites comments: “We have developed a successful recipe in meeting the high demand for quality business space in Bromborough and across Merseyside and are delighted at the success of this latest scheme at Wirral International Business Park.

“The ideal location of Stadium Court so close to the A41 and offering easy access to the motorway network via the M53 has proved very appealing to local companies wanting to expand their operations as well as those companies from outside of the region. The premises are available on flexible terms and this is proving a very attractive option to a wide variety of businesses and their requirements.”

The Mayor of Wirral, Cllr Phil Gilchrist, comments: “I’m delighted that Priority Sites have completed phase two at Stadium Court.  It is a further demonstration of business confidence in the Borough and Wirral International Business Park in particular.  The continued creation of high specification premises and new jobs is exciting news for Wirral.”

Phil Smith, Wirral Direct, adds; "Priority Sites has shown outstanding commitment to Wirral with another high quality investment project. Through developments such as this Wirral can meet the needs of the modern business market creating space that expanding businesses need. It has been a delight to work with the Priority Sites team and I look forward to supporting and promoting further projects with them in the future."

Priority Sites is currently active on three other sites across Merseyside, all part of the company’s investment programme in the area. These include Brookfield Business Park, Fazakerley; Turnstone Business Park, Widnes Waterfront, and Priority Sites Business Park, Bootle. These three sites will collectively create over 600 jobs for the local area through the delivery of 277,000 sq ft of industrial, hybrid and office accommodation, suitable for a wide range of requirements and uses.
