WIDNES WATERFRONT REGENERATION ON SHOW 06 December 2007

• Priority Sites opens ‘show unit’ to prospective occupiers
The UK’s leading regeneration specialist, Priority Sites officially unveiled its ‘show’ office unit to prospective occupiers yesterday at the company’s high quality Turnstone Business Park development at Widnes Waterfront.
The Priority Sites team was joined by Halton Borough Council to mark the opening of their first office unit at the Business Park. The scheme, which will comprise 60,000 sq ft (5,574 sq m) of quality business space, is set to complete in February 2008. It is anticipated that when fully occupied, the scheme will create and retain up to 180 jobs.
Priority Sites are providing their hallmark recipe of high quality office and hybrid accommodation, which has been very popular among a variety of occupiers across the country, looking to relocate or expand their businesses. The self-contained units, which range in size from 2,254 to 6,616 sq ft, are available for sale or rent, on flexible terms.
The development at Venture Fields, which will sit alongside the Langtree Group’s 30,000 sq ft (2,787 sq m) development of managed office space, has been attracting a significant amount of interest from potential occupiers.
Murray Carr, Area Development Manager for Priority Sites, comments: “We have been inundated with enquiries from a broad range of local businesses and investors who are keen to lease or purchase their own, high quality affordable premises.
“Potential investors and occupiers now have the opportunity to come along and see the commercial premises at first hand, months before the Business Park completes.”
Priority Sites is working in partnership with Halton Borough Council to develop the new commercial accommodation at the Business Park. John Boanas, Development Director for Priority Sites, adds: “We are very encouraged by the strong level of enquiries. It seems local businesses are becoming aware of the commercial benefits of locating to an area where regeneration efforts are so concentrated. We are delighted to be making such a positive contribution towards the rejuvenation of the area, which is set to transform the Waterfront into a thriving commercial centre. “
