FINAL PHASE OF DONCASTER COMMERCIAL SCHEME COMPLETES

• 60% of units already under offer as scheme completes at Priority Sites popular West Moor Park development

England’s leading regeneration specialist, Priority Sites, has just completed the third and final phase of development at West Moor Park, Doncaster. Phase two of the Point 4 scheme at the business park has attracted a barrage of enquiries since construction began in April, and on completion, only three of the seven industrial units now remain available.

The final phase of development at the park, which completes an £9.6 million investment programme for the local area, has been developed in response to the high demand for top quality business space in Doncaster. The developer’s two previous phases of commercial development at West Moor Park, Sarah Court and Point 4 phase two, have provided local companies with 74,380 sq ft of high grade commercial accommodation. These units are now fully occupied by local companies including printers, engineering companies and product distributors who require high quality, modern accommodation and room to grow their businesses.

The new units on this latest phase, which lie just half a mile off junction 4 of the M18, offer a further 38,520 sq ft of commercial space, comprising four terraced units ranging in size from 4,000 sq. ft to 5,340 sq. ft, and three standalone units ranging in size from 5,000 sq. ft to 7,500 sq. ft. It is anticipated that Priority Sites’ West Moor Park scheme will create and sustain over 200 jobs for the local population when fully occupied.

Karen McFarlane, senior development manager for Priority Sites, comments:
“We are thrilled with the success of West Moor Park. Interest levels in the scheme have been high throughout all three phases of development, and occupiers have highlighted the excellent location combined with the low maintenance, quality and flexibility that these units offer, as key factors in their decision to relocate here.

“It has always been our aim to ensure that growing local businesses remain in the town and continue to boost the local economy. We are delighted that by providing the right kind of commercial accommodation, we have been able to ensure the continued prosperity of the Doncaster business community.”

The scheme has been brought forward with the assistance of the Objective One funding programme.

The remaining units at West Moor Park are available to rent or buy, on flexible terms. Interested parties should contact Ian Brooks of Chappel and Co, Doncaster or Rebecca Schofield of Knight Frank, Sheffield.
