NEW COMMERCIAL SPACE COMPLETES IN DONCASTER

• Priority Sites marks the completion of a further 36,000 sq. ft of commercial premises adjacent to Doncaster Sheffield Robin Hood Airport.

The Chair of Doncaster Council, Councillor Paul Coddington joined regeneration specialist, Priority Sites recently, to officially mark the completion of new high specification business space at Delta Court on Sky Business Park.

The commercial scheme, which comprises a total of 89.000 sq. ft of industrial accommodation lies adjacent to Doncaster/Sheffield Robin Hood Airport, and has already attracted several occupiers, with 15,000 sq. ft of the 36,000 sq. ft of premises available on phase two currently under offer.  Several occupiers reside at the development’s first phase including the Glow Company and Boa Construction.

Lee Buchanan of Priority Sites comments: “This is a very significant occasion for us. Delta Court has contributed considerably to the regeneration that the airport has created, and we have been delighted to play a role in that effort. We have provided quality buildings that offer a great degree of flexibility, and that have proved a real draw for both local businesses and those from further afield wanting to benefit from being in such close proximity to the airport and its trade. This is all very positive news for the local economy of Doncaster.”

The Chair of Doncaster Councillor, Paul Coddington comments: "I am delighted to attend the official opening of Delta Court.  This development, along with others across Doncaster, will make significant impact on the regeneration and job prospects of the Borough.”

Welcoming the opening of Delta Court, Don Valley MP Caroline Flint said: “Four years ago, this landscape was dominated by old, desolate former RAF buildings.  Today, Delta Court has transformed the skyline and represents a new lease of life for the airport.  Every unit offers the potential for new companies to come to a prime location.  The airport’s Sky Business Park always held out the promise of a wide variety of employment opportunities.  Priority Sites’ Delta Court development shows that promise being realised.  This is a proud day for our airport.”

Priority Sites develops commercial schemes across England assisting Urban Regeneration Companies and Regional Development Agencies with the delivery of ambitious regeneration projects.  The developer, a joint venture between the Royal Bank of Scotland and English Partnerships, is no stranger to the Doncaster region, being the name behind several phases of commercial accommodation at West Moor Business Park, just off junction 3 of the M18. Other South Yorkshire schemes include Wharncliffe Business Park, Shortwood Business Park and Capitol Court in Barnsley, as well as those located at Templeborough, Rotherham and Dinnington, near Sheffield.
